Ok I finally figured it out, but haven’t solved it really. It turns out that the host I’m using (aplus.net) blocks port 80, and all server-outbound traffic for security

I’ve been wondering about this “permission denied error” I keep getting from some sites when I post. I thought it was something I was doing, but turns out it’s the host, after all — aplus.net. If there’s a workaround to this, I would really like to know. Having to ping everything manually is a real pain.
