A thousand apologies. Seems I got it all spectacularly wrong about Blogjet in my last post reviewing clients for MovableType. Just two days after my post, I received an email from Dmitry Chestnykh of Blogjet putting me right on several counts.

• It does allow file uploads, and very easily too:

  Tools -> Attach File

• Also thumbnailing:

  Insert Image -> Generate Thumbnail

• And my comment about the dotted line separator being incompatible with the Markdown-and-SmartyPants text filter was completely off the wall. As Dmitry says:

  It’s not true - this line is not actually the dotted line separator — it’s only visual representation of this. No actual lines are inserted in post - try yourself

Shame on me. And, again, apologies to the people at Blogjet. In my defence, I’m only glad that I did have an even earlier post recommending Blogjet. And, for the record, Blogjet is back on my system now. Thank you, Dmitry, and thank you to the Blogjet team. I don’t know what impresses me more, actually — the software, or the vigilance of the team and their evident concern for their customers.
